Laboratories
Science can be defined in terms of enquiry and questioning phenomena and we in Cauvery matriculation school to make our young minds think on rational lines to realize the potential of scientific thought and logic have provided state of art physics, chemistry, computer and biology lab facilities.
Library
Library consists of a wide range of books in various languages to make learning more comprehensive, illustrative and effective. All the students get a chance to visit the library once in a week as per the Time Table. They also have access to the library when they are in need of books for reference.
Computer Lab
To go in pace with the technological development, the usage of computers is mandatory. Computer education is very essential to every child. Fifty five systems with full fully integrated, networked and up to date Computer Lab with computers, Printers, a multi-media projector and a scanner caters to the needs of our students.
3D Lab
Be it Biology, Physics or Chemistry, a 3D experience is a pure delight, taking students into a life-like virtual world, where abstract ideas come to life. Educomp 3D Lab is available for select modules in Mathematics & Sciences for Classes VI till XII. These modules have been selected from various State and Central boards and cover a wide variety of topics.
Food
The School Management provides Hot Lunch to students (optional) in the school. The lunch comprises of a carefully chosen menu focusing on a balanced diet. Snacks and milk along with a choice of Bournvita/Boost/Horlicks are provided twice, one at 10.00 am and another at 3.15 pm. This is the unique feature of Cauvery.
Mineral Water
Two RO (reverse osmosis) systems are available to provide purified water to all the students. Hence Students are free from carrying water bottles.
Audio Visual Room
Enhancing the learning by stimulating the auditory and visual senses is done in the Audio-Visual lab. Curriculum based CD’s are played for better understanding of the subjects. Each class from Pre-KG – XII use the A.V Room once a week.
Extra Curricular Activities
We believe in over all development of the students. The school provides an opportunity to choose among chess, yoga, karate, hand ball, Table – Tennis, Basket ball and Abacus. Students are trained in any one of these skills by experts in the respective fields.
Transport
One bus, Four vans of the school and three private vans under the school's office control are plying within the city limits at nominal charges. The pick-up points are decided by the School authorities based on the demand. This assures the safe commutation of the students.
Toilet Facilities
Spic and Span toilets are available which are carefully built on a modern base. The sewage treatment plant is built to maintain total hygiene. Care is taken to clean the toilets daily.
Medical Care
Yearly Eye and Dental check ups are done to all the students. Immediate medical attention will be given in case of emergency. Students are taken care of by the President and Treasurer.
Telephone facilities
Students are allowed to use the phone in the office free of cost when they are ill or in an emergency. A pay phone is also available for use the cost is Re. 1 per call. Cell phones are not allowed on campus and will be confiscated.
Mobile SMS Facilities
Mobile SMS facility has been extended to all the students and staff members in our campus. This innovative technology-based solution helps to establish and foster a strong bonding with their stakeholders resulting in a clear advantage for everyone- school management, teacher, parents and children.
Close Circuit TV
The school has installed a close circuit TV in every block corridors and in some higher classrooms, labs, plays fields, all entry and exit points. This surveillance helps in maintaining discipline and ensuring a high level of security. School control is monitored through the camera monitor.
Other Privileges
The books, note books and the sports uniform (every year) do not come under the fee structure.
Hostel
We provide hostel facility for girls only. The accommodation is limited and only vegetarian food is provided. For admission to the hostel, separate application, has to be submitted. Specially appointed wardens and matrons take care of the hostel students.
Caring Touch
Special care is taken and regular counseling sessions are conducted by specialized people for the students.
EduComp Smart Class
The class rooms are now changed to Edu comp Smart class that brings technology to class rooms. It empowered the teacher with well researched, mapped to curriculum digital modules which she could project right in the classrooms to elucidate and explain concepts.
