About Our School

The Historic first step on the journey towards excellence was taken with 32 students and 7 teaching staff in Cauvery College campus. The school has an ambience that is conductive for learning.

Seven years after its inception in 2008, the school was fortunate enough to have a campus of its own and was shifted to the present premises in Bharathi Nagar, The road opposite to Bishop Heber college leads to the school. It is on the way to Vayalur Road from Chatram Bus Stand. The school is built in a serene atmosphere of 4.17 acres of land.

The School building is built in a total area of 45000 sq.ft. There are 24 rooms which include Classrooms, Laboratories, Computer lab and an Audio visual room. A well maintained play ground with a Basket ball court and Kho Kho court help the students to develop their sport skills.

Today the school has more than 700 students and around 34 staff members.

Cauvery Matric Hr. Sec School aims to provide quality education to students in a stress free environment. It will strive to prepare the students to face the challenges and lay emphasis on traditional and moral values with progressive ideas.

About Our Reddy Trust!

Reddy Educational trust, a group of enlightened and eminent citizens, started Cauvery College for women and made it one of the best colleges in the state of Tamilnadu. 65 University rank holders have passed out from the college during 2007 of which 11 have secured University 1st ranks.

To fulfill the long felt need for another institution to give quality education for girls in this city, Reddy Educational Trust started Cauvery Matriculation Higher Secondary School for girls. The Cauvery School governing council administers the school.
